CPE ACCREDITATION
NCSTP’s CPE Courses Approved by the Director of Practice National Registry of CPE Sponsors
Look for the logo (shown at left) on
CPE courses you consider taking. It is assurance that the
course is conducted in compliance with the requirements of
state boards of accountancy and the uniform standards for
continuing education in the accounting profession.
Director of Practice has approved our registration as a
sponsor of live courses. As a registered sponsor, we are
committed to delivering high-quality CPE and adhering to the
standards set by the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
State boards are responsible for awarding CPE credit and are
the ultimate authority with respect to granting credit for
programs.
NCSTP is permitted to grant one credit for each 50-minute
hour of course participation. Fields of study for CPE
courses include accounting and auditing, taxation,
consulting services (such as management advisory services),
management, personal development (including public
relations), professional ethics, and specialized knowledge
and applications (for example, not-for-profits and
taxation).
NCSTP warrants that our courses are accurate, current, and
sufficient to meet the learning objective. They have
been developed and reviewed by qualified individuals and are
presented by instructors qualified both with respect to
program content and instructional approach.
Once a course is completed, participants return evaluation
forms rating the instructor and quality of materials
distributed, as well as whether the learning objectives were
met. Participants receive certificates indicating the
course, field of study, date and number of CPE credits
earned.
