The North Carolina Society Of Tax Professionals (NCSTP)  is a nonprofit organization. It was founded in 1985 with the goal of organizing the Nation's Tax Professionals, helping them to achieve a standard of recognition that was long overdue. 

 NCSTP serves all areas of the Tax Profession, including Certified Public Accountants, Tax Attorneys, Enrolled Agents, Financial  Planners and Professional Tax Practitioners and Accountants. 

Annual state society dues are only $60.00 Member benefits include: 

• Free attendance to continuing education seminars at chapter locations (May-December) providing CPE credits.

• Fellowship with other tax professionals in your area.

• Eight newsletters (May thru December) covering a variety of subjects related to tax  preparation.

• Information about workshops and seminars from other professional organizations in your area
